Been gone forever huh?

I have returned from the dead, or from reading and not making time for my blog. Its a new year! 2010, wow thats just crazy! I am determined for this to be an AWESOME year!!!! No resolutions, just fun. How about you any resolutions? I recently saw Avatar in 3-d (my first 3-d movie) it was awesome! I wish I had time to stand in line and see it again. I only get to see movies when I travel to a city, since my lil town had no theater. So anytime I do leave town  I have to fight the urge to just spend my entire time at the theater. I love movies! I love forgetting all about reality and just living in that moment. It is too fun!

So I will travel to ATL soon. I have a friend who is opening a restaurant and I promised to go to the opening. I am so exited, I think I will be getting a tattoo while I am there too. Woohoo!

Ahhhh Spring....

When I think of spring I think of birds and flowers. I get that we have to have April showers to bring May flowers.... but C'MON!!! I should be drowning here. We have gotten so much snow and that on its own is no biggie, I can handle that. This year though, after every good snow there had to be rain. *ugh* It has been such crap! Then when I have absolutely had it and am just about to give in to my husband and make a real plan to move.....

The sun has to come out and make promises I know won't be kept, but.... what if this time it is different? Then I walk to the post office and have to slog through this...

I threaten to be depressed and the sun teases me yet again...

So how has your winter going? I have had some inspiration and some ideas for writing and have even started a few. I don't know what works best for me though, planning ahead or just going with it. Hmmm not so easy to put in to words as it is in my head. I see everything as I want it to be but I must refine my ability to make it come across right. I had some visitors in my back yard the other day gave me some great ideas. Look at this guy....

I hope you have had a good winter and are looking forward to spring as much as me. I am starting my planting late this year, but hey, better late then never right?

NaNo WriMo

Yeah i tried it...i failed. I get blocked so bad anytime i TRY to write. I can do it if i am just messing around, but if i give myself a deadline or even a goal i can't think. Stupid i know. I don't know how to get around it. I can't trick myself out of it either, cause really how do you "fool" yourself?! 

Whatever. 

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! And don't party too hard on new year's eve, at least not so much that you can't remember anything the next day. Those were always the worst for me. I did terrible things. It was fun though!

i had ideas of what to blog today and suddenly my mind is blank.  doesn't matter anyhow does it? i have school pictures of my kids that i was waiting and waiting for, i have had them for about a month.... and still haven't sent any to my family. bad me. i had big plans to send them as soon as i got them, then they came in. i didn't even pick them up from the school until a week after they arrived because i knew i would have to deal with them and yet i have not. *sigh* i think i need an assistant. someone who will do those kinds of things for me. i am terrible about mail. 

i hope you had a good weekend. did you go shopping? i stayed home and had all my journals laid out in front of me and wrote for all of a half hour i think. silly. 

well i better go do more of... nothing. lol.
